1020 Steel: is a plain carbon steel grade providing increased strength and ductility. 1020 steel retains integrity in basic structural applications while still being a low cost material.
Military: deals with the development and manufacturing of products and devices used in various defense applications. Military standards are most often defined by an efficient operation and substantial longevity in inhospitable or rugged conditions and environments.
Flat Washers: primarily used with other hardware, such as nuts and bolts to distribute forces in the process of tightening. Tightness is determined by pattern features such as nominal screw sizes, screw pitch thread, interior and exterior diameter ratios and height.
