What are polyethylene flat washers?

Its low surface energy and self-lubricating surface also make it useful in applications requiring reduced friction.

What are the differences between HDPE and UHMW-PE washers?
HDPE is a general-purpose polyethylene with good chemical resistance, low cost, and adequate strength for most applications. UHMW-PE has an extremely high molecular weight that gives it significantly better wear resistance, impact resistance, and load-bearing capability than HDPE, at a higher cost. For demanding wear applications, UHMW-PE is the better choice.
