Following their attendance of the 2018 IMAGE Training and Forum, Superior Washer & Gasket Corp. is honored to announce their participation in the ICE Mutual Agreement between Government and Employers and their complete commitment to lawful hiring practices and standards.

Demonstrating their commitment to lawful and secure employment practices, small stampings manufacturer, Superior Washer & Gasket Corp. is now participating in the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s IMAGE program. The IMAGE program, also known as ICE Mutual Agreement between Government and Employers, is dedicated to building partnerships that foster legitimate hiring practices and ensure a fully compliant U.S.-based workplace.

The IMAGE program connects American companies with educational materials and resources to ensure their potential job candidates are authorized to work in the United States. Companies participating in the program have access to special training, the E-Verify employment eligibility verification program, and guidance on how to detect vulnerabilities in their current hiring methods.

Superior Washer & Gasket Corp. is proud to announce their participation in the program and recent attendance at the 2018 IMAGE Training and Forum, along with other New York-based employers. With over a hundred individuals employed between their Hauppague, NY and Rock Hill, SC production facilities, the industrial and mil-spec manufacturer is greatly invested in building a strong and qualified team of professionals.

Vice-president, Rob Lippolis confirmed the company’s commitment to lawful hiring standards at the IMAGE signing ceremony and was quoted in a September 27th, 2018 ICE news release as stating, “The IMAGE program is directly aligned with our core beliefs as an American owned and operated manufacturing company. Superior Washer & Gasket Corp. is honored to be a formal member of the program.”

By hiring only authorized, lawful employees and maintaining best practices as a proud producer of American-made goods, Superior Washer & Gasket Corp. has further asserted their commitment to contributing to a level playing field for all domestic manufacturers. Though the company’s participation in the IMAGE program is a recent development, their thorough employment eligibility standards and their compliance with lawful hiring practices have been mainstays of their operations for decades.

With more than forty-five years in business, the family-owned, three-generation manufacturer has proclaimed itself as an exemplary U.S. company. They are proud to add their IMAGE participation to their long history and heritage in American manufacturing.
