Low carbon steel offers good formability, consistent dimensional quality, and adequate strength for the vast majority of industrial, construction, and mechanical assembly applications.

What finishes are available for low carbon steel flat washers?
Low carbon steel is susceptible to corrosion and is typically supplied with a protective finish. Common finishes include zinc plating (clear or yellow), hot-dip galvanizing, phosphate and oil, black oxide, and plain (oiled). What is the difference between low carbon steel and mild steel washers?
